I don’t understand why people criticise navel gazing. What are they saying? That we should be fighting some war instead or something, I mean what’s wrong with introspection and thinking about things.. what do they perceive navel gazing to be? Isn’t it just reflecting things in our mind? To me, critizing it seems to just be a roundabout way of saying, ‘pull up your shoe laces and get on with the absurdity of life without acknowledging it.’ As if they don’t like people who are opening up the reality too much. In a strange way, it is them who are ‘navel gazing’ because they want to be on complete automatic mode, the mass societal march of insanity of delusion.
